Direct Coins is pleased to present the Beth Zaiken Collection - The Koala 2025 10oz Silver Proof Ultra High Relief Coin. Beth Zaiken is a Minnesota-based professional artist and illustrator. As a principal artist and lead muralist for Blue Rhino Studio and part of the Artist Infusion Program for the United States Mint, she has over a decade of experience creating large-scale murals and reconstructions of modern and prehistoric animals in both traditional and digital media.
An award-winning artist, Beth’s 2021 American Liberty High Relief $100 Gold Coin design that features a Bucking Bronco won the prestigious Best Gold Coin Design at the Coin of the Year (COTY) Award Ceremony in 2022.
The coin’s ultra high relief reverse portrays a koala sitting in a tree, happily eating eucalyptus foliage. Included on the reverse is The Perth Mint’s ‘P’ mintmark, as well as the 2025 year-date.
